Assistant to Director/HR Coordinator (part time role)

 

Hello. I am looking for an assistant. That might sound boring, or not challenging enough for you. But could I please ask you to read on…?

 I run a small but well known HR consultancy which specialises in senior marketing positions. Our website will show you that we work with the biggest and best companies, and our clients are usually CEOs. So it is a serious business, and I need someone who is professional, efficient, and assertive when necessary.

 There is some basic admin work, which must be done to keep our business running. However I would like someone who actually wants to get involved in the business; taking part in candidate assessment interviews, eventually running projects with minimum supervision from me.

So it is a job wherein you can be much more than an assistant or PA - and yet it can be done in 20-25 hours per week. It is ideal for a Mum who is looking to return to work to do something interesting and enjoyable.

 I am British and do need to be able to work with you in English. I have always enjoyed a friendly and open personal relationship with my PA, but that means listening to my frequent monologues on what is wrong with the world, and possibly helping me put the world to rights.Indeed, we also run an interesting non-profit venture (www.infoprovsechny.cz) and I would be happy if you would like to be involved with this too.

 We can agree a working time schedule which fits well with the rest of your life, and you will be paid by the hour. If you develop your role in the search projects, you may earn success bonuses.

 If you have a background in either HR/recruitment or marketing, then this will help you, but interest in these fields has proven more important than experience.
